Keep Calm.. and Be Still

"Be still and know that I am God." Psalm 46:10 NIV

How many of us know what it means to be still? We operate such busy lives; either we're on Twitter, Facebook or uploading every photographic moment onto Instagram. We're living very "connected" lives but how often do we stay that connected our Lord, Jesus Christ? Each day, we encounter a myriad of situations, decisions, and issues that need dealing with. But through it all, God reminds that all we need to do is take some time to "be still" and know that He is. He is peace, clarity, financial provision, good health, rest and everything else we need to make it through each day. We first have to learn how to give Him the time of day.

Prayer for Today: Dear Lord, sometimes life can get so busy, that I don't make time to connect with you. I put my friends, family, fears, concerns and ambitions before my time with you. Today, help me to be ever mindful of Your presence. Help me to get still and know that you are all things to all people. In Jesus' name. Amen.
