Faith In Him

"But without faith it is impossible to please and be satisfactory to Him. For whoever would come near to God must [necessarily] believe that God exists and that He is the rewarder of those who earnestly and diligently seek Him [out]." Hebrews 11:6 AMP

The Online Free Dictionary defines faith as a confident belief in the truth, value, or trustworthiness of a person, idea, or thing. In today's world, we often put our confident belief in things like money, pleasure, fame, success, friendships and the like. But, to be satisfactory to God, the only faith He desires, is a firm faith in Him; without that,no matter what we do,it will be insufficient. The next time circumstances challenge you to question whether the Lord will give you what you've asked for, remember that we can only be satisfactory and pleasing when we completely believe in his integrity, value and truth.

Prayer for Today: Thank you, Lord for this day. Thank you, Lord for your Word. Thank you for all the promises you have placed in the secret places of my heart. Thank you, because your integrity stands from generation to generation; you are not a man that you should lie. Help me to have a stronger faith in You. Help me to trust everything you say and all the plans you have for my life; plans to prosper and not to harm me. I give you all the glory, honor, and praise. In Jesus' name. Amen.
