Speak Wisely

"Gold there is, and rubies in abundance, but lips that speak knowledge are a rare jewel." Proverbs 20:15 NIV

This proverb speaks volumes to a generation obsessed with constantly being heard. Through all of our various sources of social media, you can catch someone saying something at all times. However, King Solomon reminds us words spoken are as common as gold and rubies, but a mouth that speaks knowledge is far more rare, but still a jewel. Let's use our mouths and the various platforms available to us to speak words of wisdom and knowledge.

Prayer for Today: Dear Lord, thank you for the gift of self-expression. Thank you for the gift of being able to communicate and share with others. Please help me to use this gift wisely. Please help me to use my mouth and my speech to share wisdom and knowledge. Please let your love and light shine through what I say today. In Jesus' name. Amen.
