Write It Down

"And the Lord answered me and said, Write the vision and engrave it so plainly upon tablets that everyone who passes may [be able to] read [it easily and quickly] as he hastens by. 3 For the vision is yet for an appointed time and it hastens to the end [fulfillment]; it will not deceive or disappoint. Though it tarry, wait [earnestly] for it, because it will surely come; it will not be behindhand on its appointed day." - Habakuk 2:2-3 AMP

Ever get a great idea? Perhaps the Lord has whispered a great plan in your ear or in a daydream he reveals a vision for your future? But you find it hard to believe and end up brushing things out of your mind?  In life, there will be times where great ideas, vision and even plans will be laid on your heart; if you don't have enough courage to even consider them, you might be missing the route to your destiny. Instead of writing off the future fruits of your God-given talent and ability, the Lord is calling us to write down our dreams and visions. He wants us to take it a step further by investing in those dreams, showing how much we trust His word and His timing. Grab a pen and some paper; start writing.

Prayer for Today: Dear Lord, thank you for making me in Your great image. Thank you for every great dream You've spoken to my heart. Please help to believe in the talents and gifts You've given me. Please remind me that every dream that comes to pass is a direct reflection of Your glory. Let me never grow weary of the work and dedication it takes, but remind me how much strength I gain by trusting you and waiting on Your divine timing. In Jesus' name. Amen.
